When ears are unplugged (2022)

I may look like a recycled adornment abandoned of its primary purpose but do not be fooled. I am as dignified as you and should be worn with wisdom.

 

With the perpetual buzz of suburban life you forget me and  pay little attention to all the voices speaking into your life. Whether consciously aware or not, the words and ideologies you allow into your being shape your identity which in turn project itself into your actions.  Therefore it is only when your identity is transformed that your actions will truly change.

 

My primary purpose as an auxiliary cable, even as I dangle from your earlobe, is to be a alternative reminder to the ear of the power of the frequencies you allow to frequent you. The silent clinking of my chains may incite you to think that bondage to ideologies is my fault as a transmitter cable. But I am only an instrument that exposes the desires of the heart by the purposes that I am used for. Think on that as my unfettered chains caress your neck.

 

So my dear wearer true freedom is being a captive to the truth but you already know that since your ears have been unplugged.
