From the moment I fully surrendered my life to Christ at the age of 12, my heart was overwhelmed with a profound joy and sense of purpose. I was so captivated by the life I found in Christ that I began fervently praying, "Give me the World," longing for all to experience this same life and joy in Him. Not long after, I stumbled upon the fact that renowned evangelists had prayed similar prayers, and, feeling intimidated, I stopped. 

 

God had other plans! About five years ago, during an evangelism trip to Malawi with GNE, the Lord rebuked me, challenging my hesitation. He reminded me that He wasn’t looking for a "great evangelist" to be resurrected from the past—He was calling me, Josh Soal, to step into obedience and follow Him in evangelism.

 

But my passion for world evangelism flows into the Arts. As a creative musician and artist, my desire has grown to see the church rise up and reclaim its role in defining the Arts. I long for us, as God’s people, to set the bar for excellence in creativity because we know the Creator Himself. I believe that our artistic expressions should reflect His glory, demonstrating a level of craftsmanship and imagination that the world cannot ignore. 

 

I’ve had the privilege growing up in a faithful Pastor’s household to experience.  With nine years of training with EE3 (Evangelism Explosion 3), including four years serving as a lecturer, and I've been blessed to participate in numerous evangelistic trips across Mozambique, Malawi, Kenya, Thailand, the USA, South Africa, and Zambia. Each experience has been a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness, as He continues to open doors for me to grow in the gift of evangelism that He has placed on my life.
